BADASS Cover – “Look At Me Now”- by KarminMusic (maybe better than Chris Brown’s original!)

•April 21, 2011 • 3 Comments

Originally, when I heard the Chris Brown track with Busta Rhymes called “Look at me now” (I’m getting paper), I thought to myself, this song is so simple in its music production, and relies heavily on the lyricists/artists, and the track is “siiiiiiiick!”. Love it. The vocals are just killer, and even though I’m not a fan of Chris Brown due to the whole Rihanna thingy, I’m still a fan of this song.

Well, there’s a music crew on YouTube who just did a cover, and the cover is pretty EFFING Sick as well. I can’t believe this chick does such a fine a job spitting rhymes, staying in time, and kills it- maybe even better than all three of those rappers on the original. Here is the phat video cover by KarminMusic…watch and learn kids…anyone can make music if you’ve got the talent!

Look At Me Now – Chris Brown ft. Lil Wayne, Busta Rhymes (Cover by @KarminMusic)

Thanks for watching folks! ~ Starr Ackerman’s Music Production Blog

PS. My favorite lyrics of this song are from Lil Wayne’s part “I never gave a fuck about a hater, got money on my radar
Dress like a skater, got a big house, came with an elevator……. Your girlfriend a freak like Cirque Du Soleil”

Here is the REAL Video for “Look at me now” Chris Brown, featuring Busta and Lil’ Wayne

Here are the lyrics to the song “Look at me now” by Chris Brown Featuring Busta Rhymes and Lil’ Wayne:

“LOOK AT ME NOW”

Yellow model chick
Yellow bottle sipping
Yellow Lamborghini
Yellow top missing
Yeah yeah
That sh-t look like a toupee

I get what you get in 10 years, in two days
Ladies love me
I’m on my cool J
If you get what I get what would you say
She wax it all off, Mr Miyagi
And them suicide doors, Hari Kari

[Hook]
Look at me now, look at me now
Oh, I’m getting paper
Look at me now
Oh, look at me now
Yeah, fresh than a muthaf-cker

Lil n-gga bigger than gorilla
Cause I’m killing every n-gga that
Try to be on my sh-t
Better cuff your chick if you with her
I can get her
And she accidentally slip fall on my d-ck
Ooops, I said on my d-ck
I aint really mean to say on my d-ck
But since we talking about my d-ck
All of you haters say hi to it

I’m Done

[Busta Rhymes]
Ayo Breezy
Let me show you how to keep the dice rolling
When your doing that thing over there, homie
Lets go
Cause I feel like I’m running
And I’m feeling like I gotta get away, get away, get away
Better know that I don’t and I won’t ever stop cause
You know I gotta win everyday day, goooo
See they don’t really wanna pop me
Just know that you never flop me
And I know that I can be a little cocky, nooo
You aint never gonna stop me
Everytime I come a n-gga gotta set it then I got it going
Then I get it, than I blow, than I shudder every little thing
That he be doing cause it doesnt matter cause I’m gonna dadadadada
Then I’m gonna murder every thing and anything a badaboom a badabing
I gotta do a lot of things, and make it clearer to a couple n-ggas
That I’m always winning and I gotta get it again and again and again

And I be doing it to death and now I move a little foul
A n-gga better call a, everybody know my style

And everybody know I’m the the baddest
When I come to doing this and Im banging on my chest
And I bang in the east and I bang in the west
And I come to give you more and I never give you less
You will hear it in the street or you can read it in the press
Do you really wanna know whats next, lets go
See the way we on, we be all up in the race and you know
We gotta go, don’t try to keep up with the pace
We struggling and hustling and sending in and getting in
And always gotta take it to another place
Gotta taste it and I gotta grab it
And I gotta cut all throught his traffic
Just to be at the top of the throne
Better know I gotta have it

[Hook]
Look at me now, look at me now
Oh, I’m getting paper
Look at me now
Oh, look at me now
Yeah, fresh than a muthaf-cker

[Lil Wayne]
Man f-ck these bitch ass n-ggas how yall doin?
I’m Lil Tunechi, I’m a nuisance, I go stupid, I go dumb like the 3 stooges
I dont eat sushi, I’m the shit, no I’m pollution, no substitution
Got a bitch that play in movies in my jacuzzi, p-ssy juicy
I never gave a f-ck about a hater got money on my radar
Dress like a skater, got a big house, came with a elevator
You n-ggas aint eatin, f-ck it, tell a waiter
Marley said shoot em, and I said ok,
If you wanted bullshit then I’m like olay,
I dont care what you say, so don’t even speak
Your girlfriend a freak like Cirque Du Soleil
That’s word to my flag, and my flag red
I’m out of my head, bitch I’m outta my mind from the bottom I climb
You aint hotter at mine, nope, not on my time and I’m not even trying
Whats poppin Slime? nothin five, and if they trippin f-ck em five
I aint got no time to shuck and jive, these n-ggas as sweet as pumpkin pie
Ciroc and sprite on a private flight
Bitch I’m enticing, guiding light, and my pockets white and my diamonds white
And my mommas nice and my daddy’s dead
You faggots scared cause I’m too wild, been here for a while
I was like f-ck trial I puts it down
I’m so young money if you got eyes look at me now bitch

[Hook]
Look at me now, look at me now
Oh, I’m getting paper
Look at me now
Oh, look at me now
Yeah, fresh than a muthaf-cker

I saw him at the NAMM 2011 show in Anaheim California, and he promised he would make me a bangin’ video for AmpliTube iRig, and here it is!

Check out this video where Billy Morrison uses AmpliTube for iPad and the iRig to recreate the Billy Idol tunes that he plays on the Billy Idol Tour!

More about Billy Morrison: From playing guitar in the Los Angeles based all-star band, Camp Freddy, through joining rock band The Cult on their 2001 reunion, to writing and recording with his own bands Stimulator (signed to Geffen Records in 1995), Doheny, Circus Diablo (signed to Koch Records, 2007), his own solo material, and now currently playing guitar for Billy Idol, Billy Morrison makes music at all levels.

Now he takes his music on the road with him, everywhere he goes, with AmpliTube for iPad and the iRig interface adapterWatch as he gives a tour of AmpliTube iRig and shows how you can get that Billy Idol sound on your iPad.

For Girls: New Blogging about Spa Services – What is Velashape?

•March 24, 2011 • 2 Comments

Kim Kardashian, the ultimate hottie…Velashape?

Kim Kardashian, Velashape, bikini photo

Ladies, of course we are all interested in what the hell Kim Kardashian is doing on television But seriously, did she really pay to have her cellulite removed? Well yes, she did, but she claims to have done it with a non-invasive, non-ablative skin treatment…she’s looking all hot and admitting to talk show hosts that her “secret” is a spa process called Velashape. Well, if it really works, then I want to see if it can happen to “the rest of us” regular 30+ year-olds who aren’t milking TV reality shows to get everything in our world to be televised and free…(dude, I am not bitter…I just want free everything too and look like I’m forever 21).

I have a friend in the spa industry in FL, a yoga instructor named Denise, and I asked her about it. She told me she had to “train” on the Velashape machine, along with another medical spa aeasthetician, and she received the treatment as part of her training. The Verdict from the inside? Velashape works. One treatment on her legs/butt, and she lost ten pounds after two weeks.

In the end, Denise did a series of 3 treatments, and lost 30 lbs total, and all of the cellulite off of her body…pretty awesome right? And it was free for her because she worked there!

The Search for the Price/ Costs of Velashape:

So, of course, I want to try it. I ran my ass off all last year and never lost the stupid cellulite on the back of my legs…shitty, right? So I started calling some places that offer Velashape services here on the Jersey Shore. Wow, that shit is really expensive. I sat in one office today, and the lady told me she was giving me a “deal” for $2450 for six treatments on my thighs, butt and tummy. I called another spot earlier this week, and they said it would be $1500 for two areas (which could be inner and outer thighs for all I know) for four treatments. AND- that was a “Special” at 50% off, it was really supposed to be $3K for two areas x 4 treatments!!! Jeez Louise…I wonder if Kim traded some endorsements for her Velashape? ‘Cause I can only imagine that shit being stupid expensive in Beverly Hills, or in Cali in general.

Conclusion: I still want it…but we’ll see who comes down to like $1500 for the whole set of procedures…:-) Okay, so what if I’m trying to get a deal? You should be proud of me for using my negotiating skills, ladies! I’ll let you know what the next step is (or price is).

What is Velashape? Velashape Before and After Photos?? From the Velashape.com website:

Velashape Before and After Photos, but this is NOT ME...but what a difference.

VelaShape™ features the revolutionary elōs™ combination of Bi-Polar Radiofrequency (RF), Infrared Light Energy, plus Vacuum and Mechanical Massage.

The precise heating ensures a safe, effective, fast treatment with no downtime.
Vacuum and specially designed rollers for the Mechanical Massage smooth out the skin to facilitate safe and efficient heat energy delivery. The net result increases the metabolism of stored energy, increases lymphatic drainage and reduces or shrinks the size of the actual fat cells and fat chambers.

The result:

  • Gradual smoothing of skin’s surface with a noticeable reduction in cellulite
  • Circumferential Reduction, with noticeable reshaping of the treated area

In a clinical multi-center study, 85% of the treated areas have reported Circumferential Reduction of thighs of at least 1cm; ranging up to 7.2cm in reduction.

iRig Mic shipping! Filter’s Lead singer, CrunchGear and Wired reviewers love it already…

•March 23, 2011 • Leave a Comment

Yesterday, IK Multimedia announced that they are shipping the iRig Mic for $59.99, the first handheld condenser microphone for your iPad, iPhone and iPod touch. The iRig Mic will work with any app that will accept an audio input, like GarageBand for iPad, Glee for iPhone, the video camera app, and any karaoke apps out there! Advance and launch day reviews of the iRig Mic and VocaLive app from the tech enthusiasts are already beaming across the internet, and here are some quotes:

Wired’s GeekDad – Chuck Lawton said, “iRig Mic and VocaLive Deliver the Complete Vocal Package for iOS.”

“The hardware of the iRig Mic itself is competent, but it really shines when coupled with the VocaLive app. Featuring a list of effects including Delay, Chorus, Compressor, Parametric EQ, Reverb, Envelope Filter, Phazer, De-Esser, Choir, Pitch Fix and Morph, you can drench your voice in dreamy reverb, add in instant harmony section in real time, or apply auto-tuning effects to get that T-Pain sound. Some of the effects are gimmicky sounding but there’s enough here that you can really customize your sound for use either in the studio or in real time during a performance. There are a wide variety of presets to show what you can do right out of the box and the same app-within-an-app multitrack recording capabilities found in the AmpliTube software.”

CrunchGear’s Jay Donovan said, “IK Multimedia’s VocaLive app for recording live audio…coupled with the soon-to-ship iRig Mic, the two make a formidable pair for creating many kinds of audio recordings: vocal performance, field recordings, etc.

“I got my hands on both of them and gave them a very quick run through and I have to say I really liked how they worked in tandem. A lot of utility packed into a pretty small package. The three-way toggle on the iRig Mic makes it very useful for a variety of up-close and far-away recording scenarios. Plus, since the iRig Mic works with with any iOS app (like the built in video camera). I think you really get your money’s worth when you shell out $60 for it. VocaLive‘s real-time effects worked for me with low latency and sounded good. Bravo!”

CrunchGear’s Jay Donovan was recently at SXSW and interviewed Filter’s lead singer with the iRig Mic (and he video interviewed like 7 or 8 other rock stars, using only his iPhone and the iRig Mic..pretty cool). Here is the video interview: Rock Star On The Outside…Gadget Junkie On The Inside: An Interview With Richard Patrick From FILTER (NSFW Language):

Here is a sweet audio demo video from TLD Today, using the iRig Mic and VocaLive:
